MATV, SMATV and Multi Switch TV Systems

Thanks to the Central TV system, collective and single center distributing systems are utilized instead of the individual dish antennas that cause visual pollution.

With the MATV/ SMATV systems, the solution of major systems with 10.000 subscribers such as a motel or a small scale building is no longer a problem. Thanks to the UBB (Ultra Broadband) systems, it is now also possible to transmit the digital platform broadcasts such as Digiturk or D-Smart from the same cable without any problem.

HOTEL INTERACTIVE TV SYSTEMS

MERIC GROUP new hotel tv system not only provides great comfort and innovations for hotel customers but also great facility and rapid service opportunity for hotel management. Welcome message on the display upon entering the room. A customer can control his/her account from a TV, and the details of expensed can be seen on the display. After controlling his/her account, the customer can close the account from his/her own room.

The Alarm can be set.
Providing services to the customers in different languages.
Accessing the internet services through a TV. Reading E-mails and sending messages.
Additional income can be gained for a hotel with a paid service by a system which let the customers listen to music and watch video channels via a TV. Pricing is done automatically by the system itself.
It let the system work as integrated by connecting to the hotel system (Fidelio etc.).

CABLE TV
Signal Processing
Thanks to our professional IRD, Statistical and Statical Multiplexer and EdgeQAM solutions, we can offer flexible, cutting-edge, cost-effective and bandwidth optimizing analogue, digital and IPTV Headend solutions. In these structures, the content can be provided to the subscribers with different options by being encoded by Conditional Access systems.

CABLE MODEM TERMINATION SYSTEM

MERIC GROUP, Broadband has gained great experience on the interactive networks. The solutions offered by us can be implemented for large and small scale structures. Thanks to our CMTS solutions both for Cable Operators and ISP / MSOs, distribution can be provided on a district or city basis. And, for small scale applications such as building complex and plaza, the services such as Internet, VolP, intercom and burgler alarm system can be provided via a TV infrastructure without requiring an extra cabling. Nowadays, as Cable TV networks are the most important alternative solution for broadband applications, bandwidth can be used with a maximum efficiency with I-CMTS and M-CMTS architecture supported by DOCSIS 3.0.

In these structures, the below mentioned value added services can be provided:
* City - municipality monitoring system via coaxial cabling.
* Traffic and public order control/monitoring services
* VPN, VLAN and high speed bandwidth

Classic HFC

HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax) is network structure, consisting of a combination of fiber optics and traditional coaxial cable developed by the Cable TV industry to provide two-way and high-speed data access to the home.
With the electronically controlled HFC Fiber Nodes and RF Trunk/Distribution amplifiers presented by MERIC GROUP, there is no need for pads any more. Gain and equalizer values are set electronically and these are changed according to the seasons (summer/winter). Also, this prevents any intervention from unauthorized people.
MERIC GROUP will continue bringing technology into your home.

Fiber Deep

Bandwidth-intensive services such as video-on-demand (VOD), high-speed Internet access, circuit switched telephone, voice-over-IP (VoIP) and interactive television are encouraging Cable operators to increase available bandwidth per home.

Aurora’s passive HFC architecture drives fiber into peak points in the network by reducing 500 homes, the typical HFC node services area, into 80-200 homes.  The locations of optical node are optimized in such a way to eliminate active components, such as RF amplifiers and power supplies. And, in this way   both the back and forth direction bandwidth per subscriber and the reliability of the network are increased substantially. Moreover, the operating and maintenance costs for the network are significantly lower than those of a traditional HFC network.

Fiber on Demand
Fiber on Demand is a next stage of Deep Fiber architecture. We can think that deep fiber is a substructure of fiber on demand. We can provide 100 Mbit or more Ethernet and band to institutional customers (banks, Office etc.) with this technology. It provides additional income for the networks.

FTTH, FTTP
The increasing bandwidth offers special solutions for the projects to provide our customers with interactive services such as IPTV.
